The Beginnings

This past weekend, our team met up to discuss potential yoyo ideas. We each brought in sketches of ideas we’d come up with and shared them with each other. After talking through our general expectations for the project, we narrowed the selection to a few ideas. We then voted for our top three choices; these were the three ideas with the most votes:

Three essential components we want to include are (a) creating a purely mechanical system, (b) having a component that would move as the yoyo swings up and down, and (c) making the design aesthetically pleasing. The three ideas we’ve chosen incorporate these aspects in different ways and we are excited to see what comes next!
